Event Report: XVIII ALADAA International Congress

Between November 20 and November 24, 2023 the 18th International Congress of the Latin American Association of Asia and Africa Studies took place in San Jose, Costa Rica. Over two days, more than 200 academics from 27 countries gathered to present their research and discuss the state of Asia and Africa studies on the continent.

Workshop Photo Report: Conducting Literature Review for PhD Thesis

This 5-day workshop, organised by CHSS and the Faculty of Human Sciences, Royal University of Phnom Penh, took place at Sanna Villa Residence, Siem Reap Province, Cambodia.

Participants were provided with conceptual and practical knowledge about how to conduct literature reviews. When writing a PhD thesis, literature review is one of the most critical components.

This three-day conference for researchers is organised by the Timor-Leste Studies Association (TLSA), taking place 12-14 July, 2023. The TLSA is an interdisciplinary, international research network focussed on all aspects of research into East Timorese society, including politics and history, economics, communications, health, language, agriculture and science.
