Venue: Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune
Dates: November 28th-29th, 2024

Aim of Collaboration

The CHSS Regional Collaboration Meeting was organized to bring together the AAS-CHSS Research Grantees. SPPU had also organized the fifth edition of the Research Capacity Development Workshop during the same period. This workshop was attended by PhD scholars and independent researchers from various fields in Humanities and Social Sciences, coming from diverse backgrounds. Each day of the collaboration and workshop had sessions led by experts from different universities who also mentored the participants.

Supporting Young Researchers

This Regional Collaboration provided a platform for the AAS-CHSS Grantees to engage in meaningful conversations with the workshop participants and fellow grantees. It also offered the grantees the opportunity to present their research and receive valuable feedback and insights from the mentors and other participants.

Rationale

The CHSS Regional Collaboration Meeting was organized with the rationale of bringing together research scholars who were beneficiaries of the AAS-CHSS Research Grant. The Regional Collaboration Meeting would provide a platform to the research grantees, many of whom are independent researchers and teaching faculty, to engage and participate in meaningful discussions with young researchers in various fields in Humanities and Social Sciences, who would come as Research Capacity Development workshop participants. The Collaboration would also provide the AAS-CHSS Grantees a platform to present their research, gain meaningful feedback and insights, and connect with fellow grantees.
